We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil/Site Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. This position offers the opportunity to lead the design and execution of diverse land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, institutional, and public-sector developments. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and preparation of civil/site development plans, including grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and site layout.
  • Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, permit applications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Richmond, VA and regional jurisdictional requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Support project managers with client communication and project execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
  • 6+ years of civil/site design and land development experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
