MAGNIFY is partnering with a growing client in Richmond, VA to hire an experienced Tax Associate
. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, support a diverse client base, and contribute to meaningful financial decision-making.

You’ll engage in more than tax preparation—this position emphasizes relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and professional growth within a collaborative, high‑performing team located in one of Richmond’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

Schedule: Full‑Time, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review S‑Corporation and Individual tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client financial documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Advise clients on credits, deductions, tax planning strategies, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including documentation collection and initial setup.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of completed returns to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal team members to address tax‑related questions and issues.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of tax filings and client communications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, compliance standards, and filing procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years of tax preparation experience (S‑Corp and Individual returns preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
