The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in managing the company's financial health. This individual will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage a small team, and provide the high-level analysis necessary to support our executive leadership in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Supervise a small accounting team and oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Financial Reporting: Lead the month-end close process and prepare comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&L statements.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of all business transactions.
- Analysis & Insights: Compile financial data to analyze trends, assets, liabilities, and capital, providing monthly management reports to summarize the company's financial position.
- Treasury & Banking: Execute daily banking requirements, monitor liquidity, and manage loan/collateral accounts in coordination with financial institutions.
- Budgeting & Audit: Drive the annual budgeting process and serve as a primary point of contact for external audits.
- Operational Oversight: Administer corporate credit card programs and expense reporting; handle ad-hoc management inquiries regarding financial results.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Skills:
Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proficiency in financial reporting software.
