In this role, you will be integral in assisting clients with a variety of accounting and financial reporting challenges.

- Managing and delivering timely and accurate accounting and financial reporting services including:
- Assistance with Accounting and Financial Close and Reconciliation, ACFR or financial statement Preparation, Implementation of New Accounting Standards, and more.
- Assessing client accounting challenges and developing tailored advisory solutions.
- Evaluating complex governmental or not-for-profit accounting situations in compliance with GAAP.
- Reviewing Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports for accuracy against benchmarks.
- Tracking project progress and updating client leadership on tasks and recommendations.
- Overseeing engagement economics and resource management to meet project goals.
- Ensuring team knowledge of accounting standards and supervising team activities including training and performance evaluations.
- Creating content that enhances brand recognition in governmental accounting.
- Building trusted advisor relationships with clients to identify opportunities for expanded services.
- Fostering relationships for long-term business development.
- A passion for superior client service and unwavering integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification.
- At least 7 years of public accounting experience with external audits or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of GASB and FASB standards.
- Experience auditing or managing financial closes for governmental or not-for-profit entities.
- Expertise in internal controls documentation and testing.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills, with strong communication abilities.
- A sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills for addressing transformation challenges.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.

$152,800 to $237,700, adjusted based on experience and other factors.
