The Senior Accountant partners closely with the accounting team and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple business units. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines. The Senior Accountant supports both centralized accounting functions and division-level financial activities.
Key Responsibilities- Enter, process, and review invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and management reports
- Review financial data for trends, variances, performance metrics, and benchmarks
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist with quarterly financial reporting and related analyses
- Perform month-end close activities, including account reconciliations
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support leadership with financial insights, reporting, and analysis
- Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
