Location:

Richmond, VA – Onsite

• Currency verification
• Receive bulk currency deposits for automated note processing; perform prepping activities to prepare currency for processing, such as detecting notes of wrong denominations in each strap
• Process each bundle received through the Banknote Processing System (BPS); handle rejected currency due to lack of fitness or counterfeit status
• Verify rejected currency through the Reconciling Station (RS); prepare unfit currency for Independent Destroy All (IDA); detect counterfeit currency; record individual bank differences resulting from such verification, as well as from the detection of deposit shortages and overages

• 1–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced production environment such as manufacturing or similarly highly regulated environments
• Previous experience with currency handling; training will be provided
• Detail‑oriented skills capable of following procedures in a highly audited environment
• Self‑motivated personality with a sense of responsibility and a focus on getting the job done
• A team player who can be flexible with other members and time rotation
