At Bank of America, the role is to provide comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. The position involves triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, and meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals and recommend products.
This position may include residential mortgage loan origination and requires SAFE Act registration. All employees involved in residential mortgage loan origination must register with the federal registry system, maintain good standing, and submit to required background checks. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action up to termination.
Responsibilities- Work with clients to plan short and long‑term financial goals by building financial plans with brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Self‑disciplined in managing time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions.
- Strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Results‑driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
