Corporate Financial Manager

Position Overview

Corp Financial Manager manages finance operations and supervises accounting, non-patient billing, cash receipts, asset management, capital projects, budgeting, month-end close and financial reporting.

• Oversee accounting operations, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, comprehensive controls and budgets to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS as appropriate.
• Ensure systems and procedures support effective program implementation and audits.
• Work closely with program leaders and staff to educate them on finance/accounting procedures and explore how finance can support operations.
• Work independently to maintain current work and adapt to new procedures/systems.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of general accounting or finance work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in financial and accounting software applications.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and PC.
• Preferred: accounting/financial work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: experience with GAAP, federal and state financial regulations, financial data analysis, reports, statements, projections.
• Preferred: advanced computer skills and financial analysis.
• Preferred: budget forecasting experience.
• Preferred: public accounting and/or tax experience.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field from an accredited program.
• Preferred:
  Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited program.

Supervises and manages all personnel issues of staff, including approving time-off requests, performance evaluations, workload management, time record approval, and handling other personnel issues.

May be required to work evenings and/or weekends during seasonal and periodic requirements.

Lifting 20-50 lbs. Prolonged standing, sitting, bending, repetitive motion. Sensory: strong recall, reasoning, problem solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, reading, logical thinking. Emotional: fast pace environment, steady pace, handle multiple priorities, intense customer interactions, adapt to frequent change. Use of assistance devices as appropriate.
