Genworth's innovative Actuarial Development Program helps transition aspiring actuaries to accomplished professionals through obtaining the FSA designation. Beginning Summer 2026, this multi‑year program (18‑30 months) provides rotational assignments that build foundational skills, business acumen, and leadership across product lines and functions.
Program members receive study time during work hours (up to 200 hours in any six‑month period), coverage of exam fees, and salary increases for exams passed, including a bonus for first‑attempt success.
What you will be doing- Work in a fast‑paced, innovative, and change‑oriented environment

- Attend on‑site technical and professional development classes
- Participate in sponsored community service events
- Utilize advanced Excel techniques and programming
- Work with large data sets
- Gain exposure to actuarial software, including GGY AXIS, MG‑ALFA, and Poly Systems
- Graduating by the Spring 2026 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related Mathematics field
- At least one passed Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam
- Minimum final GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Career aspiration to attain a Fellowship designation
- Demonstrated math and analytical skills
- Previous internship experience, preferably within the insurance industry
- Participation in team or individual case study projects during undergraduate program
- Proficiency in oral and written communications
