TEKsystems is hiring a Floating Bank Teller to work with a Fortune 100 financial institution located in Richmond, VA, with additional branch locations in Richmond, Colonial Heights, and Midlothian.
The role involves delivering a full range of banking products and services to members and prospective members, including checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, estate accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
Responsibilities- Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
- Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
- Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
- Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell service products and increase product penetration.
- 1‑3 years of banking experience, retail, customer service.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and via email.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Must be available Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am‑2:30 pm.
- May be expected to work 2‑3 Saturdays a month depending on business need.
Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.42 per hour.
