Financial Analyst, Financial Consultant
The Financial Planning Associate is a full-time, entry‑level position providing technical support for the Advisors. Responsibilities include data gathering and input, financial and cash flow modeling, scenario building, presentation creation, and preparation of income tax projections. Working closely with the firm's Advisors, the Associate will develop comprehensive tax and financial planning skills.

ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Planning Associate will focus on the following areas:
- Data Management
:
Gather, organize, and input client data within a tax and financial planning context. - Financial Planning
:
Prepare detailed client financial plans, including cash flow and retirement analysis, and create presentations for review by Advisors. - Deliverable Preparation
:
Review client agendas and prepare deliverables such as tax projections, performance reports, education funding analysis, social security analysis, and other tax and financial planning schedules for Advisor review. - New Client Onboarding and Investment Integration
:
Collaborate with advisors to ensure seamless onboarding of new client accounts, including transfer of securities, basis reconciliation, and initial investment deployment according to customized portfolio strategies. - Special Projects
:
Assist the Operations Team and Advisors with special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate for the Financial Planning Associate Position will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Accounting or Finance majors preferred).
- CPA or CFP candidate (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized, with the ability to set priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who takes initiative.
- Team player, collaborative, and able to work effectively with others.
- Desire and ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
