The Revenue Recognition Technical Program Office is a diverse and high-performing team of motivated professionals who apply deep technical accounting and finance expertise to help Oracle stakeholders structure and execute strategic customer transactions that maximize revenue while mitigating risk.
The team’s responsibilities include active participation in strategic contract reviews, technical accounting assessments of Oracle programs, and analysis of evolving regulatory developments. It also provides technical accounting advisory support to the Global Revenue Recognition organization.
As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in upholding Oracle’s fiduciary standards by ensuring that revenue is recognized in full compliance with U.S. GAAP and in alignment with Oracle’s Revenue Recognition, Internal Controls, Finance & Accounting, and Business Practices policies.
ResponsibilitiesReview executed arrangements for compliance with Oracle’s Revenue Recognition, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (ASC 606) and other corporate policies to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain an up to date and thorough knowledge of Oracle’s internal Revenue Recognition Policy, and technical accounting policies and Oracle business practices.
Provide support to external auditors and participate in ad hoc projects as required.
Ensure federal-specific tracking is completed for executed contracts, including overall funding, program line item utilization, invoicing, and other reporting requirements.
Partner with Revenue Recognition leads to support large, complex, and strategic customer transactions by streamlining and optimizing transaction support processes.
Identify, analyze, and automate manual revenue recognition workflows using AI, machine learning, and process automation tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Deal Management, and other teams to understand business requirements and implement intelligent automation solutions.
Develop and maintain automated reporting, data validation, and reconciliation processes to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
Leverage AI technologies, data analytics, and workflow automation platforms to improve transaction review, contract analysis, and revenue-related operational processes.
Contribute to a culture of innovation by helping transform highly manual transaction support activities into scalable, intelligent workflows.
Desired Skills and Experience includes- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to think through complex scenarios.
- Customer focused, proactive, goal-oriented self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong desire to continually learn and adapt to changes in revenue recognition polices & practices.
- Familiarity / expertise in the use of AI to achieve efficiencies in current practices to eliminate labor hours and manual data entry.
- Focus on optimization of current systems / manual processes (primarily in excel) by utilizing automation and AI as applicable.
- Fluency in English is essential.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
