Brokerage Retail Equity Trader

Job Position

This is an in-office position. Location options are Richmond, Virginia;
Charlotte, North Carolina;
Atlanta, Georgia. Provide high touch equity and options order handling services to Wealth Brokerage and Advisory clients. Communicate directly with the front office on liquidity sourcing and execution strategies; best execution and superior service are the highest priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
• Three (3) years of equity trading experience
• Strong analytical and computer skills with a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg and electronic trading platforms (e.g. Flex Trade Color Palette, Refinitiv REDI Plus)
• Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 57 and 63 or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Five years (5) of related experience
