Treasurer Opportunity
Our client, a Virginia-based bank that has fundamentally changed the foundation of their bank over the past four years, is now looking to catch up on integration, infrastructure, and hiring talent that is able to scale up. They are thinking and planning ahead and paying it forward as they create the infrastructure to support a $5B to $10B organization, and well beyond that.
This Treasurer role that reports directly to the EVP-CFO is going to be a key part of that.
We are looking for a B.S. in Finance with a strong track record of upward mobility in a banking environment on the Finance (Treasury) side of the fence. Preferably with an institution $5B or above. Ideally, you would have 12+ years of experience with a combination of the following: heading up ALCO, oversight of ALM, managing the investment portfolio of your bank, funding, liquidity, pricing, capital, FTP, etc.
This is a broad-based role and you will be exposed to and be responsible for many things. You must be decisive, creative, an out of the box thinker, with excellent interpersonal skills. Sitting with a green eye shade in your office in this role will not cut it. You must be hands on, personable, and accessible! Like many banks, because of compressed margins, rising interest rates, and the regulatory environment, this position is more important than ever.
It is an exciting time to join this bank. They are well positioned, have the capital, and although the team possesses excellent pedigree, they are humble and down-to-earth and are creating a high performing, but fun work environment. Intrigued? Please inquire today in confidence. We look forward to speaking with you.
