Overview
Review and input necessary information to setup or fund a closed Correspondent loan for purchase. Teammate will review closing document and loan disclosures to identify key data points. Demonstrate aptitude with communicating electronically. Attention to detail is crucial for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review closed loan packages for key documents.
- Review key data points within the loan package to determine if the loan is acceptable for purchase.
- Enter, validate and correct information in Lending Space to ensure data integrity.
- Communicate loan defects in clear and concise terms.
- Generate reports to assist with production.
- Mentor and train other teammates in some areas.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and work related training.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with mortgage loan documents.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training.
- 2+ years of experience in lending or finance, preferably in mortgage originations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following:
Lending Space, Compliance Ease, MSP, FHA Connection, MERS.
Job Requirements / Working Conditions
Must be able to sit continuously for more than 50% of the time. Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical tasks may be required. Availability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime, is necessary. Minimal travel (up to 10%) is expected.
SalaryThe annual base salary for this position is $45,760 - $65,990.
BenefitsAll regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax‑preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full‑time or part‑time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
