Position: 2026 Guggenheim Securities Investment Banking Analyst - Healthcare Services (Pharma Services)

Overview

Guggenheim Securities is seeking an Analyst to join its Healthcare Services team in Richmond. This position will focus primarily on covering pharma services and provide the opportunity to work with senior bankers based in Richmond and New York. The Healthcare Services Group is a rapidly growing strategic initiative that covers payors, providers, HCIT, pharma services, and animal health.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform financial and valuation analysis such as discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and public and transaction comparable valuation analysis.
  • Prepare client pitch presentations.
  • Prepare transaction marketing materials, including teasers, information memoranda, company operating models, and other transaction‑related documentation.
  • Interact with senior bankers, senior client management, transaction lawyers, and accountants.
  • Build and develop relationships with clients through ongoing engagement and demonstration of financial and industry knowledge.
  • Perform company and industry research to gain an in‑depth understanding of sector trends, client challenges, and strategies, and develop innovative and creative solutions for clients.
  • Develop an in‑depth understanding of M&A deal processes.

  • Significant maturity and ability to work as a team with top company executives and senior management.
  • Highly organized, with initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective process management abilities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Must have received a Bachelor’s degree in December 2025 or Spring 2026.
Work Location
  • Expected to be in the Richmond office at least 4 days per week.
Salary
  • A salary based on an annual rate of $110,000 per year.
  • The base salary amount represents the anticipated salary for this position; actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The salary listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
