Role Description

Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) progression begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. After licensing, you will develop foundational skills to advise clients, build and manage client relationships, and guide clients through complex financial needs with a human-centered approach. Once licensed, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care.

With demonstrated success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you may progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and broaden opportunities within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources to support your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements and associated background checks."

Responsibilities / Opportunities
  • Build a successful career through world-class training and onboarding programs.
  • Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers invested in your success.
  • Grow business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and solutions.
  • Obtain SIE within 30 days of hire;
    Series 7 and 66 within 120 days (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66).
  • Build your professional network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
Regulatory / Compliance

This role requires SAFE Act registration with the federal registry and ongoing compliance, including the SAFE Act background check. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.
