Job Overview:
As a Mortgage Closing Consultant, you'll guide clients through the final, most important stretch of their home buying journey — serving as a trusted advisor at one of life's biggest milestones. You'll work closely with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to deliver a smooth, accurate, and efficient closing experience. We'll set you up for success with a comprehensive training program, sponsored NMLS licensing, and a personalized career progression plan - with past Mortgage Closing Consultants going on to roles in sales, operations, team lead, and market management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan applications and supporting documents to ensure they meet underwriting standards
- Guide clients confidently through the final stages of the mortgage process
- Collaborate with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to ensure accurate and timely closings
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, answering questions and easing concerns during a high-stakes process
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in documentation before closing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- A collaborative, team-first mindset
- Willingness to obtain an NMLS license (sponsored by Cap Center)
Compensation:
The estimated range of $45,000 - $80,000 reflects the budgeted amount for this position. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related business considerations, such as relevant qualifications, experience, location, education, certifications, skills, and other job-related reasons. Where applicable, this position is eligible for incentive compensation and/or discretionary bonus opportunities.
