Payment Configuration Analyst, Operations – Corpay PayablesWhat We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Payment Configuration Analyst within our Corpay Payables division. This position falls under our Paymerang line of business and is located in Richmond, VA.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and managing risk associated with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and payments. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, detect potential fraud, and implement fraud prevention measures related to ACH transactions. You will report directly to the Support Manager and regularly collaborate with Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Technical Support.

Role Responsibilities
  • Processing & Risk Assessment: Reviewing and analyzing payment configuration requests, identifying risks, and following established business processes.
  • Fraud Prevention & Compliance: Implementing fraud detection strategies, ensuring compliance with NACHA rules, Regulation E, and other federal and state regulations.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking ACH risk trends, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in audits related to ACH processes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Working cross-functionally with internal teams and engaging with clients and vendors regarding ACH transactions and security protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance ACH risk management tools, processes, and fraud prevention strategies.
Qualifications & Skills

Must-Haves:

  • 2-3 years of experience in back-office processing and customer support (voice and email).
  • Knowledge of ACH operations, risk management, and fraud prevention tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks in payment configuration requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred) for data analysis.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with ACH software and fraud prevention platforms.
