Actuary, Asset Projection, Actuarial Governance

Genworth is seeking an Actuary, Asset Projection, Actuarial Governance to lead asset modeling and governance for its long-term care, annuity, and protection portfolios. In this role, you will develop and refine projection models, perform cash flow testing, and support capital and reserve analyses. You will drive strong actuarial governance, documentation, and controls, partnering with finance, risk, and investments. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain asset projection models for insurance and annuity portfolios
• Perform cash flow testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing
• Ensure actuarial governance, documentation, and model risk controls
• Support financial reporting, capital, and reserve adequacy analyses
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and investment teams on assumptions and methodologies
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and governance committees
• Monitor regulatory and accounting changes impacting actuarial models
• Improve modeling processes, automation, and data quality
• Support audits, reviews, and internal model validation activities
• Mentor junior actuarial staff on modeling and governance practices

Required Skills

• Asset liability management (ALM) modeling
