Credit Analyst
The Credit Analys t is responsible for processing/decisioning on credit applications and resolving credit-related issues through addressing incoming phone calls and emails from Lansing branch Associates and customers. Account maintenance is performed as needed to include sales change updates, address changes and account merge/close.

- Review credit applications for accuracy.
- Pull credit reports, request supplier references, and gather needed information from Sales Associates to facilitate credit limit decisioning.
- Independently determine the appropriate credit limit for submitted applications and rechecks on existing customer accounts up to $50k approval level.
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails from Lansing Associates and Customers to accept payments and resolve credit-related issues. Involves decision-making on managing past due accounts, responding to billing questions, and reconciliation of accounting records with customers.
- Perform account set-up in an accurate manner.
- Responsible for account maintenance requested from Sales Associates and Customers.
- Other duties assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional, in-office environment.
Physical DemandsThis is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, phone, copier, check scanner, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., though as a salaried position overtime may occasionally be necessary.
TravelVery limited travel is expected for this position for potential physical inventory or customer related events.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma.
- 2 years related experience.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required.
