About the RoleFareva USA is seeking an Operations Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Site Controller and Plant Management to support monthly closing activities, budgeting, operational controlling, and financial reporting for our manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in analyzing operational performance, tracking budgets, and providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Month-End Closing & Reporting: Support monthly closing activities, prepare reconciliations, accruals, and recurring closing reports, and assist in identifying significant variances.
- Financial & Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly actual vs. budget/forecast analyses, analyze cost variances, and assist the Controller in understanding the operational drivers behind results.
- OPEX & CAPEX Tracking: Maintain department OPEX tracking files, monitor spend against approved budgets, track purchase orders and invoices for CAPEX projects, and support annual budgeting processes.
- Inventory & Cost Controlling: Support monthly inventory reconciliations, assist in identifying slow-moving/obsolete inventory, and support manufacturing cost analysis.
- Business Support & Process Improvement: Work collaboratively with Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering to clarify financial performance and help standardize Excel-based reporting processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or finance (manufacturing industry experience is preferred).
- Technical
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or another ERP system is a plus. - Core Competencies: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, strong analytical mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight monthly deadlines.
