Loan Processor

Our client, one of the largest Home Builders in the US is seeking motivated,competitive recent graduates (0-3 yrs of experience) who areinterestedinbuildingacareerinthemortgageindustry, for the position of Loan Processor to support customers throughout the mortgage process.

This is an on-site position based in a mortgage office. Locations available include:
Richmond, Baltimore, Dumfries, Fairfax, Frederick, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Rehoboth DE and Pittsburgh. Other roles may be available.

• Manage residential mortgage files from application through closing
  Maintain regular communication with borrowers and internal business partners
• Collect, review, and record borrower and property documentation
• Set up loan files and order required items, including credit reports, employment verifications, deposit verifications, appraisals, and other exhibits
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up promptly
  Monitor submitted and pending loans to ensure deadlines are met
  Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, sales teams, and closing personnel
• Prepare closing paperwork and verify loan files for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records and follow applicable lending and compliance procedures
• Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the mortgage process

• Ability to manage multiple loan files and competing deadlines
• Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced office environment
• Two years of mortgage loan-processing experience would be ideal but not required
• Knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting guidelines, compliance requirements, and mortgage procedures preferred but not required
