Job DutiesTo conduct inspections and certification audits of local/regional jails and lockups to ensure compliance with Board Standards. To provide technical assistance to the Board, the Executive Director, and jails regarding policy/regulatory interpretation and development.
Minimum QualificationsConsiderable knowledge of correctional operations, policies and procedures. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability to resolve jail and corrections issues in a professional manner. Significant experience with criminal justice administration, corrections, or a related field.
Additional ConsiderationsExperience working in jails or healthcare systems. Advanced knowledge of jails and/or healthcare compliance.
