Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

General Description

The Deputy Title IX Coordinator supports the College’s Title IX compliance efforts by assisting with intake, outreach, supportive measures, informal resolutions, recordkeeping, pregnancy/parenting accommodation processes, and training delivery. This position works under the supervision of the Title IX Coordinator and provides operational and educational support to ensure timely, thorough, and consistent responses to reports of sex discrimination under Title IX. Formal investigations are conducted by the College’s Title IX/EEO Investigator.

Duties

And Tasks
  • Assist with Title IX intake meetings, provide information on rights and resources, and support case coordination.
  • Coordinate and monitor supportive measures at the direction of the Title IX Coordinator.
  • Facilitate informal resolution processes in accordance with College policy and document outcomes.
  • Assist with pregnancy/parenting Title IX accommodation intake, communication, and monitoring.
  • Maintain confidential case records, documentation, and tracking within Maxient or other designated systems.
  • Support delivery of Title IX training, outreach, and awareness programming.
  • Assist with compliance reviews, procedure updates, and educational materials.
  • Represent the Title IX Office on committees or working groups as assigned.
  • Prepare case summaries, correspondence, or compliance reports for review.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
  • Conduct intake and supportive measure coordination in accordance with federal and state requirements.
  • Deliver outreach and educational programming.
  • Support implementation and documentation of informal resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant case records and files.
  • Provide operational continuity and administrative support to the Title IX Office as needed.
Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, Title VII (as it applies to sex discrimination), and related compliance principles.
  • Skill in conducting intake, coordinating services, and communicating effectively with individuals in sensitive or stressful situations.
  • Ability to develop and deliver education, workshops, and training on Title IX-related topics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
Minimum Work Experience
  • Experience in Title IX, student conduct, compliance, student support, advocacy, or related functions.
  • Experience related to informal resolution or conflict resolution.
  • Experience coordinating services, conducting intake conversations, or supporting individuals in sensitive matters.
  • Experience delivering information or educational content to groups (e.g., workshops, training delivery, student engagement, professional presentations, or instructional settings).
Additional Considerations
  • Experience with Maxient or similar case management systems.
  • Experience supporting pregnancy/parenting accommodations or related student support processes.
  • Experience designing, implementing or delivering Title IX or policy-based education and training.
