We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Cook / Dietary Aide to join our team at Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation
. This dual-role position supports our residents by preparing nutritious meals and assisting with dietary services to ensure a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Cook Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements
• Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
• Assist with inventory control, food storage, and temperature logs

Dietary Aide Duties:

• Assist with meal service, tray preparation, and delivery to residents
• Set up and break down dining areas
• Ensure residents receive meals consistent with prescribed diets
• Assist residents as needed during meal service
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and dining areas

• Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of special diets (mechanical soft, diabetic, pureed, etc.) a plus
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to pass a background check
