Experience- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
- Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
- BSN completion preferred.
- Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
- COVID booster required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
- Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:

Additional Details Required Skills/Experience- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, cesarean section, postpartum, and magnesium sulfate administration.
- Must have hospital experience.
- Skills:
Fetal heart monitoring, OR, Cardiac monitoring, Warmer, Blood glucose monitoring.
- Experience with Perinatal Centricity (QS).
- Ability to scrub/assist in deliveries.
- Recent OB, ED or critical care experience.
Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate Certification - National Certification Corporation.
Shift & SchedulingEvery other weekend/major holiday required;
On call up to 24 hours per 6 weeks.
May be required to float within New Life Center or to other L&D units in Richmond.
7 days maximum time off
