Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

· Able to read cardiac monitor

· Able to give narcotics

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Stepdown experience

· Post-surgery experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Colon resections, whipple, liver and kidney surgeries, vascular, trauma

· Any surgeries other than cardiac surgery – some medical overflow

· Cardiac drips (popular Cardizem amiodarone, heparin)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS, ACLS

Floating Area(s):

· Tele and med surg

Scheduling requirements: must be able to work every other weekend

Per diem positions are available as well. The per diem requirement is 3 shifts per month. No weekend or holiday requirements.
