Glenburnie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as the Hospital Liaison
The Hospital Liaison is responsible for generating and managing leads in referral hospitals and other referral settings to ensure smooth discharge process for patients transitioning to post-acute services. The Hospital Liaison will develop strong professional relationships with referral sources and identify new opportunities for partnerships and growth.

- Achieves or exceeds monthly inquiry and census budget goals through strategic referral development.
- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with hospitals, physicians, and assigned referral sources to secure viable admissions.
- Educates referral partners on facility services, specialty programs, clinical capabilities, and appropriate admission criteria.
- Uses trend analysis and marketing feedback to guide referral discussions and clarify non-admissible cases.
- Meets with prospective residents and responsible parties to promote programs, coordinate tours, and provide marketing materials.
- Participates in weekly marketing meetings, reporting market conditions, referral feedback, barriers, and proposed solutions.
- Follows established referral handling processes and submits required activity and expense reports.
- Collaborates with the Director of Business Development and marketing team to develop and execute the annual census budget and marketing strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Prior hospital liaison or healthcare marketing experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
- Flexible and available to respond to referrals during off-peak hours.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
