MRI Technologist
Location:
Richmond, VA
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
07:00 - 19:30
Job Description:
The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities include operating GE 450W 1.5 T MRI equipment and collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality images.
Responsibilities:
- Execute MRI procedures for brain, spine, orthopedic, abdominal, and cardiac assessments.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment effectively.
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (Meditech/Centricity PACS).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have experience with GE MRI equipment.
- Current Virginia License in hand at submission.
- MR Registered certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
