Job Summary And Qualifications
  • Obtain quality MRI images of patients.
  • Complies with ACR safety guidelines.
  • Operates MRI equipment safety including screening all patients for contraindications.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations.
  • Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepares patients for exams collecting relevant information for completion of procedures.
  • Prepare MRI scanner and perform quality control tests.
  • Administers contrast media as required.
  • Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Completes and maintains educational requirements.
  • Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
  • Participates in Department QA including image quality and timely results.
  • Ensures patient safety, to include cleaning the bore of the magnet as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or MRI Required
  • Minimum one year as MRI Technologist Preferred
  • Licenses, Certifications, & Training: ARRT (R)(MR) registered or ARMRIT certified within 12 months of hire date Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
