Are you a licensed Physical Therapist looking for variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple healthcare communities?
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Traveling Physical Therapist to join our therapy team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional rehabilitative care while supporting multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout the region. WhatYou'll Do
As a Traveling Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve their highest level of function.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides
- Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives
- Travel between assigned centers to provide therapy services as needed
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of VA
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel between assigned facilities

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and mobility throughout the workday
- Ability to safely perform therapy interventions and resident assessments
