The Licensed Outpatient Counselor will provide direct, telehealth and in-person mental health services to clients at our Richmond, VA location and virtually. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing person-centered treatment plans, and providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy using appropriate therapeutic approaches. The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when needed, and adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.

The counselor will participate in case consultations, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinical culture. This is a 1099 contracted position with opportunities for growth.

• Active, unrestricted license in counseling (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• Certified Clinical Supervisor to willing to supervise 2-3 counseling residents.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Experience providing outpatient therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy).
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records and standard billing/insurance practices.
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and providing inclusive care to clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build and maintain therapeutic rapport.
• Ability to manage a full-time outpatient caseload, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Master's degree in Counseling

Preferred:
Experience with Veterans and/or adolescents/pre-teens
