Health Educator Senior Serves as a senior/lead resource to Community Health Workers and supports day-to-day CHW program operations. The Health Educator Senior works directly with the CHW Supervisor to discuss and coordinate the efficient delivery of Community Health Worker services. The Health Educator Senior assists the CHW Supervisor with coordinating program priorities, activities, staff coverage, outreach, and special projects. This position provides technical assistance, guidance, and training to CHWs regarding established program procedures and workflows.

Supports QA/QI activities, including review of program documentation, referral processes, data quality, and established performance measures.

Identifies operational concerns, trends, training needs, and opportunities for improvement and communicates recommendations to the CHW Supervisor. Supports onboarding and orientation of new CHWs and other assigned program staff. Assists with coordination of community outreach, Resource Center activities, partnerships, and program initiatives.

This position is critical because it will foster trusted community relationships and improve access to health and social services for Henrico County residents. Through health outreach, community education, advocacy, referrals, and partnership development, the Health Educator Senior will help bridge gaps between residents and healthcare in priority communities.

This position requires to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel between Richmond and Henrico Health Districts.
