The Role – Food and Beverage Supervisor:

Quirk Hotel is looking for a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor. This person would manage the food and beverage outlets, as well as private events and banquets, depending on the day. We are looking for someone who has a passion for hospitality, an appreciation for arts, and whofindjoy in making a unique, memorable experience for others. The right candidate would have a background in food and beverage (whether this is in restaurants, hotels, or events), enjoy aface pacedand evolving work environment,and would be looking to take the next step in their journey.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervises, monitors andcoachesrestaurant staff
  • Directs and assigns restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
  • Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
  • Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused onserving the customer at all times
  • Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of High School education
  • Basic bartending knowledge (can be taught if the right person)
  • Alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year in banquets/restaurant supervision role
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Ability to work in the direct sun for full shifts
  • Willingness to work holidays as needed
  • (1) year of leadership experience in a restaurant/events role
