Quirk Hotel is a locally owned boutique hotel focused on creating an inspiring, art-focused experience for guests & locals alike. We have a passion for food & beverage – showcased in our full-service restaurant, The Lobby Bar, full espresso bar & breakfast offerings at Quirk Café, and our seasonal open air rooftop bar, Q Rooftop. Our event spaces and incredible sales team have led us to become a destination for weddings, corporate groups, baby showers, birthdays, and many other private bookings.

The Role – Food and Beverage SupervisorQuirk Hotel is looking for a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor. This person would manage the food and beverage outlets, as well as private events and banquets, depending on the day. We are looking for someone who has a passion for hospitality, an appreciation for arts, and who find joy in making a unique, memorable experience for others. The right candidate would have a background in food and beverage (whether this is in restaurants, hotels, or events), enjoy a face paced and evolving work environment, and would be looking to take the next step in their journey.
We hope to find someone who wants to invest themselves into the property and grow within the company.
- Supervises, monitors and coaches restaurant staff
- Directs and assigns restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
- Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
- Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
- Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
- Perform various other duties as assigned
- Minimum of High School education
- Post-high school education preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year in banquets/restaurant supervision role
- Basic bartending knowledge (can be taught if the right person)
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
- Ability to work in the direct sun for full shifts
- Willingness to work holidays as needed
- Year of leadership experience in a restaurant/events role
