The Corporate Recruiter serves as a strategic talent advisor responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and critical roles across a complex, enterprise-scale organization. This role partners closely with executive and senior business leaders to develop proactive talent strategies, deliver high-quality candidate pipelines, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
Operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, the Corporate Recruiter leverages market intelligence, workforce data, and advanced sourcing strategies to attract and hire top-tier talent aligned with organizational priorities. This role balances strong execution with strategic influence and plays a key role in elevating the overall recruiting function.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Talent Advisory
- Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to understand business strategy, workforce plans, and talent gaps.
- Translate business priorities into proactive recruiting strategies and actionable hiring plans.
- Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and competitor landscape analysis to inform hiring decisions.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior, director, and critical individual contributor roles.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies leveraging direct sourcing, networking, and research.
- Manage complex candidate pipelines while maintaining a high-touch, consultative candidate experience.
- Facilitate structured interview processes and drive calibrated, bias-aware selection decisions.
- Influence hiring managers on best practices, interview design, and assessment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, internal policies, and governance requirements.
- Manage offer development, negotiation, and closing strategies aligned with enterprise guidelines.
- Provide data-driven insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning.
- Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, diversity metrics).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and recruiter capability.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring a consistent and compelling representation of the organization.
- Maintain proactive engagement with passive talent communities.
- Deliver a high-touch, executive-level candidate experience.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of corporate recruiting experience, including senior-level or executive hiring for large public company
- Exceptional interviewing, communication and organizational skills
- Deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems and associated compliance
- Experience using a variety of recruiting sources to include job boards and social media
- General understanding of compensation and benefits.
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the company to include senior leadership
- Strong business acumen
- Must be local to Richmond, VA or surrounding area
- 6+ years of corporate recruiting experience, including senior-level or executive hiring
