We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to join our team in the Richmond manufacturing unit supporting Electrification Smart Power – Power Protection. This role plays a key part in delivering value-added HR support to the business in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment.
This is an onsite position offering the opportunity to grow into a direct role.
Key Responsibilities HR Business Partnership Support- Partner closely with HR Business Partners to support day-to-day HR activities across assigned functions
- Assist in implementing people strategies aligned with business objectives
- Support recruitment efforts for production employees
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes
- Manage time and attendance processes
- Collaborate with HR Services on payroll and administrative activities
- Assist with employee inquiries and general HR policy guidance
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with company values, Code of Conduct, internal policies, and U.S. employment laws
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with internal communications and culture-building activities
- Participate in HR-related projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience with strong exposure to HR operations and administration
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment regulations
- Foundational understanding of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compensation & benefits
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with analytical capability
- Team-oriented with a drive for results and continuous improvement
