We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

There is one position available that will be filled at either the Labor Relations Specialist or Senior Labor Relations Specialist level commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, skills and abilities. This important position will support and administer the organization’s labor relations programs, serving as a key resource to management, employees, and labor representatives. This role applies working knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and employee relations best practices to manage day-to-day labor relations activities and more complex issues.

• Contributes to arbitration preparation, investigations, and dispute resolution while supporting constructive labor–management relationships across union and non-union facilities.
• Participates in collective bargaining processes, interprets and applies contract provisions, monitors compliance, and manages grievance and disciplinary matters through resolution.
• Leverages working knowledge of employment legislation, labor agreements, and best practices in labor relations.

2-3+ years of related experience
* in labor relations, human resources or related field.

A Master's degree will count as one year of experience towards the experience requirement. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one year.

• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in project management, analysis or investigations skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to establish constructive working relationships internally
• Ability to establish constructive working relationships with union leaders
• Strongly Preferred - Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining principles

5+ years of related experience
* in labor relations, human resources or related field.

• Advanced knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining principles

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
