Our payroll team is responsible for end-to-end processing payroll for just over 3,000 Nelson Marlborough employees, geographically, spread from Murchison to Blenheim. We have afully integrated roster-to-pay system to assist us with such a large and complex payroll service.

Our key focus is to provide aquality payroll service to our fellow colleagues. We strive for excellence in everything we do and are always open to new ideas on how toimprove our service.

This is a permanent role, working
80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.00AMto 4.30PM. The role is employed under Nelson Hospital, however, will be based at the Richmond Health Hub.

Our team consists of 7 Payroll Officers and 6 Payroll Technical staff.

Tosucceed in this role, you will have an interest in payroll and working with Payroll/HRIS applications.

Itwould be advantageous if you have knowledge of NZ Payroll related legislation,experience with roster-to-pay systems and experience with using AMS Software(LEADER, ACTOR, SQL). However, this is not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate who has a strong administration background andis keen to develop your career in payroll.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
