A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

Payrate: $21.26/hr

Required Availability:
Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Summary and Highlights

The Human Resources Assistant will support an HR team with pre-hire and onboarding activities for employees across multiple home health locations. This position will provide administrative support throughout the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring required documentation, screenings, and communications are completed accurately and on time. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre-employment and onboarding processes for new hires across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate and track post-employment drug screening requirements.
  • Manage background check processes, including verification of applicable clinical licenses and credentials.
  • Upload and maintain required employee documentation, including: I-9 forms, Offer letters, Sign-on bonus documentation, Other onboarding paperwork
  • Utilize an electronic verification system to support I-9 compliance.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence regarding pre-hire and onboarding status.
  • Identify and escalat onboarding issues to the appropriate HR team members.
  • Communicate with new employees and office staff regarding Day 1 requirements and onboarding activities.
  • Register new hires for orientation and coordinate related communications.
  • Prepare additional reports and correspondence as directed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance:
    Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, staffing, or a related administrative role required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and electronic documentation.
  • Experience with background checks, I-9 processes, onboarding, or healthcare credentialing is a plus.
