Senior Benefits Supervisor

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Benefits Supervisor to join a local Richmond company. The Senior Benefits Supervisor will administer employee benefit programs across health and welfare, retirement, savings, pension, and leave programs. Responsible for benefits compliance, plan administration, employee communications, vendor management, open enrollment, and ongoing support of benefit and retirement offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support to employees and retirees regarding health, welfare, and retirement benefits. Administer short-term and long-term leave programs, including claim processing, communications, and HRIS updates. Manage savings and pension plans, including audits, compliance testing, regulatory filings, and participant communications. Coordinate with benefit vendors and third-party administrators to resolve complex issues and improve program effectiveness. Monitor industry trends and recommend enhancements to benefit programs.

Oversee benefit invoicing, premium payments, and direct billing processes. Lead annual open enrollment activities, including system setup, testing, training, and employee communications. Develop and deliver benefit and retirement plan communications, presentations, and informational meetings. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial/state regulations, including ERISA, IRS, Department of Labor, ACA, and related reporting requirements. Support new hire onboarding activities, benefits orientation, and HR data accuracy.

Assist with HR projects, cross-functional initiatives, and team coverage as needed.
