The AI Finance Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. You will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) and enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to support key finance personas. One of the key responsibilities is developing and implementing our EY AI Finance service offering, creating an industry‑agnostic data model to ensure data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.

• Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance and results.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
• Drive continuous process improvement by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Support the effective management and utilization of finance application data, harnessing Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies to deliver business value.
• Lead workstream delivery, manage risks, maintain quality, and observe client service expectations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to evaluate models, processes, and operations, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation: data dictionaries, entity‑relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
• Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMRs across service lines to identify opportunities for applying Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques.
• Support the establishment and maintenance of a robust data governance framework and ensure compliance with data management principles.
• Stay current with advancements in Machine Learning, Gen AI, Data Management, and Azure technologies to drive innovation.

• Foster relationships with client personnel across levels and deliver high‑quality services on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed of outcomes.
• Manage expectations of client service delivery and motivate diverse client engagement teams.

• Design and implement an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of FDL Blueprint solution offering.
• Collaborate with data scientists to extend the FDL to new finance applications and personas.
• Maintain a robust data governance framework for the FDL.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions to enhance finance applications.

• Bachelor’s degree with ~5 years of related work experience, or graduate degree with ~4 years of related experience.
• Minimum four years of experience in data management, including at least one year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.
• Experience with Machine Learning, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
