Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Production Support Engineer – File Transfer (Richmond) to join their team. As a Production Support Engineer – File Transfer (Richmond), you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting various technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Support Engineer – File Transfer (Richmond)

Location:Richmond, VA

Pay Range:$65.06

• Supports multiple systems through maintenance, modification, and problem resolution to ensure continuous service delivery.
• Manages multiple tasks and funded projects simultaneously within established SLA guidelines.
• Coordinates resources across various applications, operations, and projects to optimize performance.
• Provides expertise in determining strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.
• Offers input on policy issues and best practices to mitigate risks effectively.

• 5-7 years of applicable experience in technical support and system management.
• Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling Secure Proxy.
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols such as Connect:
  
  Direct, Secure+, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using RHEL Linux.
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a hands‑on approach to technical details.
