Overview
Pride Health is hiring an Associate IT Systems Support Specialist for one of its clients based in Virginia.
This is a 4+ month contract with a possible extension, with competitive pay and benefits.
Pay range - $21 - $28 an Hour on a W2.
Length of assignment – 4+ months (With Possible extension)
Shift – Monday to Friday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Job Summary
The Windows 11 Analyst is responsible for the Windows 11 migration activities at a client’s facility.
This is a 4.5-month contract. Candidate must be an outgoing individual who has experience in a desk-side or LabIT environment.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain a working relationship with Lab Owners, IT Teams, and Management.
- Update the physical inventory of lab equipment, PC’s, software, and any other information pertinent to the environment
- Collaborates with the client’s project management team to ensure a seamless migration
- Migrate computers and software per the PKI Windows 10 documentation
- Document procedures, policies, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Coordinates and works with outside vendors for migrations.
- Maintain daily project-related communications with the Windows 10 team
- Participate in daily project scrum meetings
- Listens actively and communicates promptly and effectively with users and the Windows 10 management team. Provides timely follow-up.
- Escalates migration issues to the project manager.
- Professionalism, excellent listening skills, superior analytical skills, great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage one’s time with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 3 plus years’ experience in deskside support or lab IT environment OR Associate’s degree with 3 plus years’ experience in deskside support or lab IT environment OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 plus years’ experience in deskside support or lab IT Environment.
- Demonstrated Leadership abilities and be achievement-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and Initiative.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests.
- Ability to troubleshoot Lab IT desktop technology issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify, track, and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed time frames.
- A proven self-motivational work ethic with the ability to work independently, manage time, and schedule workload to meet deadlines and customer needs.
