TECHNAMO is a Tier-I Contractor to provide IT Services to the Virginia govt. agencies (70+ entities) and contracted to provide services to state govt. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Delaware, and Maryland govt. agencies.

This position will provide project management for medium to major IT projects. This is a hybrid telework position, will be asked to come into the office as needed. Active PMP cert required.

• Prepare documentation, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope. Communicate project changes and events to concerned parties.
• Manage communication and coordination between internal contributors and stakeholders, as well as 3rd-party vendor partners.
• Manage multiple projects throughout the project lifetime to ensure success as defined by adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Responsible for all aspects of project management keeping projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Provides timely status reports to reflect project status, issues, and risks.
• The position consults with the project team on all aspects of project management and ensures compliance with Commonwealth project management policies, standards, and guidelines.

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with various project management methodologies – Required 6 years.
• Experience in the planning and implementation of medium to major information technology projects – Required 6 years.
• Experience in the use of Planview Enterprise 1 or similar Portfolio and Project Management tools – Required 4 years.
• Coordinating internal resources and third‑party vendors for execution of projects – Required 4 years.
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or a related subject) – Required.
• Strong communications skills; written, presentation, and oral – Required.
• Certified Project Manager by PMI OR VITA PM Certification – Required.
• Experience working as a Project Manager in a Commonwealth of Virginia Executive Branch Agency(ies) – Highly desired 2 years.
