Data Staff, Inc is in need of a Project Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in the Richmond, VA area.

* This position is hybrid; 3 days per week are onsite

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Maintain project documentation and respond to progress inquiries, queries and reporting.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate the initiative status to all participants.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Capture and track project or initiative risks and mitigations
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Project Online, and Microsoft Planner
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Ability to actively engage in collaborations, transparently share progress, and adapt to evolving guidance
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
Required Skills
  • 3 Years - Experience working in a project coordinator or scheduler role
  • 3 Years - Ability to coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
  • 3 Years - Ability to maintain project documentation and respond to progress inquiries, queries and reporting
  • 2 Years - Experience in monitoring project progress and handling issues that arise
  • 3 Years - Strong can-do attitude in a time-sensitive environment
  • 3 Years - Extensive experience using MS Excel, MS Power Point
  • 3 Years - Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 Years - Ability to collaborate and provide information to all levels of the organization, customers, and 3rd parties
  • 3 Years - Excellent interpersonal communication, decision making, presentation, and organizational skills
  • 2 Years - Ability to assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • 2 Years - Ability to capture and track project or initiative risks and mitigations
Desired Skill
  • 1 Year - Knowledge/familiarity with AI
