Every accurate reading and reliable alert from an Otodata device begins with precise installation and diligent care. As our Mobile Hardware Deployment and Support Technician, you ensure customers get dependable performance—whether launching new sites or restoring service fast.
Your impact
Own the onsite experience: install, commission, and test Otodata equipment so data flows reliably.
Troubleshoot issues methodically, resolve root causes, and prevent repeat visits.
Keep customers informed and confident through clear, courteous communication.
Capture detailed reports—what you found, what you fixed, and what you recommend next.
Drive continuous improvement by documenting better methods and proposing process upgrades.
Operate company vehicles safely and use field automation platforms to streamline your day.
Follow company protocols and safety procedures to the letter.
Partner closely with technical teams and customer service to align on priorities and solutions.
Nurture strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
Share constructive feedback that improves installations, service quality, and the overall experience.
How you'll grow
Work hands-on with connected devices and IoT/telemetry systems across varied environments.
Develop advanced troubleshooting skills and sharpen documentation discipline.
Influence service standards by contributing to process design and updates.

What you bring
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s degree or technical certification (IT, electronics, or engineering) preferred.
Experience:
Field operations, technical support, or equipment install/maintenance; strong IoT/electronics troubleshooting; customer-facing communication.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent preferred.
License:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record; comfort operating company vehicles.
Professional standards:
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and accountable; excels in fast-paced environments and adapts to changing schedules.
Travel readiness:
Available to travel up to 75% for service calls, maintenance, and training.
Plus factors:
Prior telemetry or gas industry experience; strong U.S. geographic familiarity.
Integrity:
No criminal or judicial record relevant to the services performed.
