IT Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Labcorp-owned hardware for IOPs, PSCs, and client-facing systems; document asset tags
• Perform on-site troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues; use remote access tools when applicable
• Responsible for technical support of Labcorp's client-based IT products (ex. Lab Corp LINK and TOUCH Travel within assigned territory to complete support tickets and installations; document time, mileage, and task status
• Provide first-level technical support for Windows desktops/laptops, local and network printing, networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN), and specialty/proprietary lab systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues completely and accurately; provide training to end-users as needed
• Follow RMA processes for equipment returns and support security initiatives by replacing outdated hardware
• Maintain compliance with company policies and security standards during all service activities
• Process hardware/software requests including ordering, setup, installation, and testing
• Collaborate and route advanced/second-level system issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Assist with specialty laboratory system support and configuration

• AS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Cyber Security
• 1 year or more of experience providing desktop, network, or IT support in a corporate or laboratory environment
• 1 year or more of experience with networking, hardware/software installation, setup, and troubleshooting

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security
• 1 year or more experience supporting laboratories or healthcare IT systems
• 1 year or more experience supporting a multi-location IT support environment

Excellent communication skills;
Ability to work in client-facing environments and maintain professional communication;
Ability to work within a team environment and independently while prioritizing multiple tasks in a high-demand environment;
Able to pass standard motor vehicle background screen

$22.00-$32.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO
