Data Warehouse Engineer

Seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer that can develop dimensional model on Delta Data Lake with code written in Python or PySQL running on Apache Spark Server in Azure Synapse Environment, which can scale to process millions to billions of transactional and behavioral data received from retailer, google analytics, Firebase, Site Analytics.

The person selected for this position will have:

Azure Synapse Analytics
Delta Data Lake
Python/Scala/Spark
Serverless Architecture

Technology Stack Required to successfully perform the Work:

In depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Environment
Strong Working experience on Azure Synapse Analytics
Solid background in building Dimensional Modeling (i.e., Slowly Changing Dimension etc.) in SQL Server
Experience in developing Notebooks in Synapse Analytics or Databricks (SQL, Python etc.)
Exposure to building solution on Serverless Architecture
Experience in Dev Ops configuration, code migration and troubleshooting.
Experience building SSIS packages and reports, dashboards with Power

BI.

Required Skills:

Azure Synapse
Python, Spark, or Scala
Data Lake or similar technology such as Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, etc.

Additional

Skills:

Remote 3 days per week, flexible as to which days the candidate wants to come into office each week
Will gain experience in an on-prem to cloud migration project
Experience working for an independent state govt. agency
